Muller has already announced his decision to leave Bayern Munich for free at the end of the season, which has increased speculation over his next destination. While the German publication did not name the English sides, Fiorentina are said to be the Serie A outfit who have a free transfer for Muller in their sights ahead of the summer window.

MLS executives reportedly convened in Chicago recently, where discussions included the potential arrival of Muller. The consensus among the bosses was that the 35-year-old's signing would significantly elevate the league’s profile. However, staying in Europe for another season or two could entice Muller, which would mean turning down Los Angeles FC, the team that he has been linked with heavily in the past few weeks.

There has been interest from Turkey, too, with Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce willing to sign Muller as a free agent this summer. Per reports, the Turkish heavyweights could offer him a one-year deal with the option to extend for another year based on performances and mutual agreement.
